Naia™ by Eastman is a global innovator in sustainable cellulosic fibers, partnering with brands across the fashion spectrum; from H&M Group to high-end luxury labels. With a strong foundation in material science and sustainability, Naia™ plays a key role behind the scenes of some of the world’s most recognisable fashion brands. The scope of the project was a complete rebranding of Naia™, with the ambition to elevate the brand and position it closer to the fashion industry it collaborates so closely with. While the product and technology were already strong, the existing brand lacked the cultural relevance and visual sophistication needed to resonate with fashion-forward audiences. Through a strategic deep dive, it became apparent that the brand needed to be rebuilt from the inside out; encompassing strategy, employee branding, and a fully reimagined visual identity system. The challenge was to bring together multiple layers of the brand into one cohesive direction, spanning a new visual language, art direction, social media templates, and a redesigned website. The creative direction focused on shifting the brand narrative beyond the product itself, highlighting versatility, accessibility, and self-expression. The visual system draws inspiration from the origin of the fiber alongside the fabric in motion and the people it ultimately impacts. This resulted in a flexible yet distinct identity that can live comfortably within both commercial and high-fashion contexts.
