Mitsubishi Uni-ball is a global brand rooted in craftsmanship and creativity. The project focused on refreshing the visual identity while preserving the strong brand equity built over decades. This also included refining sub-brands such as Uni Pin, Emott, Eye, and Posca. The refresh focused on transforming the brand’s expressive, hand-drawn visual language into a more strategic, cohesive foundation. “Start Your Story,” became the anchor that captured both the emotional spark of creativity and the craftsmanship behind every Uni-ball product. The updated identity introduced organic linework, rounded forms, and an expanded color palette to create a more flexible and modern system. Each sub-brand was given a tailored narrative that aligned its design language with its audience. These visual elements were applied consistently across packaging, logo usage, social content, and campaigns. The result is a vibrant, human identity that feels modern, expressive, and unmistakably Uni-ball—transforming the brand from a writing tool into the beginning of every creative story.
